This position functionally reports to the Orion Program Manager and administratively to the Director of Space Flight Systems at GRC. The Manager of the European Service Module Integration Office:
- Serves as Manager of European Service Module (ESM) Integration Office for Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), responsible for overall programmatic technical management and integration of ESM assuring roles and responsibilities are executed in compliance with Inter-agency Arrangement/bilateral documents supporting the International Implementation Arrangement with the European Space Agency (ESA), including the schedule of ESA and NASA deliverables. - Is responsible for managing the development of ESM performance requirements, design compliance to requirements and systems safety and hazard controls; and oversight and insight of the U.S. and European prime contractors for ESM development and integration into the MPCV. - Integrates with Space Launch System and Ground Operations Programs including definition and control of vehicle interface verification and validation. - Builds and manages a diverse workforce. Provides an inclusive work environment of multi-disciplinary, cross-Agency teams focusing on accomplishing the design, development, integration, test, evaluation, operation, and long-term maintenance of flight vehicle, software, and associated systems. - Serves as Orion Program's liaison with ESA and ESA's industry partners and effectively builds coalitions to establish, negotiate, and document bilateral agreements which establish requirements, interfaces, data deliverables, hardware and software exchanges, and integration and verification plans. You must have the skill and ability to perform the duties described above as demonstrated by progressively responsible supervisory/leadership experience, normally obtained over several years by serving in positions at the GS-15 level or equivalent. To meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, you MUST address each Executive Core Qualification (ECQ) and Mandatory Technical Qualification (MTQ) separately. If you fail to do so, your application will be rated ineligible. We recommend you provide two (2) examples of relevant experience for each ECQ. Qualifications:
MTQ 1 - Demonstrated experience in the management and oversight of integrated aerospace systems development activities including coordination of technical and support activities, and management of/coordination with complex external organizations and stakeholder interests.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
