Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Ops Support Compliance/Audit Supervisor with creating a benchmark team. The Compliance Lead will provide coverage during peak processing periods and support teammates as needed.

Provide ongoing support for the OFAC and FinCEN monitoring process
Assist with the development of new and improved Compliance & Audit tools and resources, processing efficiencies and streamlined procedures
Facilitate monthly work group sessions to ensure optimal work flow and performance
Gather documentation of adherence to banking regulations
Make internal and external Audit and Compliance recommendations
Monitor and audit Payment Defender system
Actively participate on departmental and enterprise-wide project teams
Assist with ongoing coaching and development of Compliance & Audit teammates
Collect teammate performance metrics and encourage individual stretch goals
Provide backup support for payroll administration, performance discussions and employee engagement
Participate in Compliance Training
Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals

Education and Experience
5 years business experience
Associate's degree or higher, preferred
Supervisory and/or training experience a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
