Facility Coordinator

Be partof a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise Information Management.  The opportunity: Coordinate OpenText Facilities operations to meet the business units' needs. Serve as the liaison between OpenText Staff, building maintenance and other related vendors to ensure appropriate maintenance and operations of local OpenText facility. This position reports to the Manager, Facilities, Eastern US. You are great at: o Planning and completion of general Building Maintenance and relevant Regulatory Testing programs to ensure a high standard of office appearance and operation is maintained. o Responsible for site Facilities tasks, requests and issues, and is a main facilities point of contact for employees, vendors and contractors. o Manage and audit Facility Service contracts in conjunction with Procurement Team, ensuring best value and agreed service levels are met. o Work closely with and oversee vendors and contractors in the proper completion of maintenance and repair requests on building systems, furniture, and office equipment.  o Monitor the preventive maintenance activities of utilities including electrical, HVAC, Fire and Safety equipment's etc. o Participate in the management of the Operational Budget including but not limited to maintenance budget, office supplies, etc., achieving savings through vendors, proposal development, and negotiations; coding of payments, preparation of variance analysis. o Assist the Facilities Manager with capital projects, constructions, procedures and processes. What it takes: o Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience, working in mix office / Data Center environment an asset with a College or University degree in a related field o Adaptability and flexibility for changing priorities o Strong organizational skills required o Computer literate with standard business applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint  o Excellent English verbal and written communication skills o Ability to work in a team environment and independently without direct supervision o Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment Ref#: 21564

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
