Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities: Utilize strong mathematical and programming skills to perform dynamic response analysis of Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) to define loads, accelerations, and displacements of both the payload and launch vehicle in support of critical space missions launch for the U.S. Government. Join a team of highly skilled structural analysts performing Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) tasks for classified payloads launching on ULA Atlas V and Delta IV, SpaceX Falcon 9 and other New Entrant launch vehicles. Specific tasks include assembly and checkout of finite element models, processing and verification of forcing functions, development and implementation of loads methodologies and performance of advanced coupled loads analyses. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of numerical simulation, programming and engineering analysis. Prior experience performing loads response analyses or structural dynamics analysis of aerospace is desirable. The successful candidate should have a B.S. (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering. Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team to organize, analyze, document, and present findings both to internal and external customers required. Training/experience in numerical simulation codes such as Matlab is required and computer programming experience using UNIX Linux based systems is highly beneficial.  US citizenship is required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates for this position need to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance and not be denied an Interim clearance. Desired skills: Experience with finite element codes and pre- and post-processors, particularly advanced Nastran, Patran, and Femap is desirable. Familiarization with component mode synthesis methods, transient and frequency response analysis, model correlation, dynamic test, and/or processing of flight data is beneficial. 2018-52399

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
