Confidential Confidential Brookpark, OH Brookpark, OH Full-time Full-time $64,000 - $67,000 a year $64,000 - $67,000 a year The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing all areas of the Human Resources administration which includes recruitment and selection, payroll processing, employee relations, and employee benefit management.
The HR Specialist maintains proper documentation of employee's company policy adherence as well as the company's adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
In addition, the HR Specialist ensures that all company policies are being followed by management and provides guidance and training in such areas.
RESPSONSIBLITIES:
Creates and maintains personnel records in a timely manner Ensures all documentation is turned in by management (trainings, performance reviews, corrective action) Educates managers and supervisors on human resources issues Develops and maintains company employee handbook and safety manual Maintains and monitors vacation, attendance, and corrective action files Develops employee new hire orientation programs and assists in the implementation as needed Develops performance review formats Assists management in developing job descriptions Provides counsel and assistance to employees at all levels in accordance with the company's policies and procedures as well as relevant and current legislation Researches and recommends new technology systems as it pertains to HRIS and payroll Creates and maintains proper organization and timely filing of all HR documentation Manages advertising for open positions Sources and screens resume and applications Conducts interviews and coordinates interviews with management Primary contact with all temporary staffing agencies Responsible for all onboarding and offboarding Ensures accurate weekly processing of payroll Provides timely reporting to AP and Finance departments Maintains proper and accurate filing systems of all payroll related monthly, quarterly, and annual data Develops and maintains a tracking system for all administration of benefits to employees when applicable Develops and conducts the benefit presentation for employees Manages the enrollment process for all benefits, 401k, and COBRA Primary contact for third party of benefit services Liaison for employees with all applicable third-party providers Provides counsel to the Finance department as it pertains to benefit renewal rates and options Conducts annual meetings for employees to provide information on benefits and training Ensures workplace accidents and injuries are reported properly and timely Manages documentation for MCO and government agencies Assists in the representation of NCL at hearings when needed Trains and counsel's management on procedures and policies as it pertains to Worker's Comp and Unemployment issues Manages all leaves of absence (FMLA, general leave, etc.
) Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2-5 years human resources experience, required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, preferred Must possess the appropriate computer experience (i.
e.
Microsoft Office) Ability to multitask and work in an organized manner Job Type:
